Procurement Manager
- Develop and implement procurement strategies that support company objectives and drive cost savings.
- Establish and grow the procurement function by defining best practices, processes, and policies.
- Source, evaluate, and manage supplier and vendor relationships to ensure quality, reliability, and favorable pricing.
- Negotiate contracts and pricing to maximize value and mitigate risk.
- Forecast demand and monitor supply needs to ensure timely procurement and avoid disruptions.
- Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate supplier performance and internal procurement effectiveness.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Finance, Facilities, Operations, and other departments to align procurement efforts with business needs.
- Ensure procurement activities comply with legal requirements, company policies, and regulatory standards.
- Lead and manage the procurement team (if applicable), providing coaching, direction, and performance management.
- Travel may be required for training or to support other locations as needed.
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field with 5+ years of experience in procurement or supply chain.
- Minimum of 2 years in a managerial or supervisory role.
- Experience with procurement software and ERP systems (e.g. Microsoft, SAP, Oracle, Coupa).
- Certified Professional in Supply Chain Management (CPSM), Certified Purchasing Professional (CPP), or/and Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply (CIPS) certification preferred.
