Join the Finning family! Finning Canada is seeking a Parts Journeyperson to support our client site located at CNRL Horizon. This position is responsible for handling a variety of parts sales duties as well as all facets of the parts ordering system.

Job Description:

Basic Functions:

  • Parts counter sales
  • Shipping and receiving
  • General warehouse duties, house keeping and other parts related duties as required
  • Working within the customers ERP system Maximo as well as Finning's M3 system.
  • Working on customer site supplied office space next to the customer shovel planners and leads, as well as Finning Technical service reps
  • Manually adjusting vendor dated POs to reflect actual delivery dates for each item on PO in Maximo
  • Handling all EMP Shovel orders & quotes for Horizon
  • Working within the CAT MOMP & PSCRM systems
  • Submitting timely quotes and orders. Sourcing and tracking all orders until completion, while keeping the customer updated of any changes or issues
  • CNRL Open PO reports
  • Managing Power BI back order reports
  • VMI - Shovel Rope counts and replenishment orders
  • Creating and Managing Shovel Component CRTs
  • Working with Finning Master planner to create job plans
  • Processing core and warranty returns
  • Working with D14 EMP team. (Parts Techs, TSRs, Advanced Tech Team)
  • Attending daily customer meetings
  • Working with the admin teams in Edmonton as well as the on site CNRL people

Qualifications:

  • Journeyperson parts certification coupled with previous parts, warehouse, front counter, sales experience and Caterpillar product knowledge
  • A high performance, positive attitude and the ability to build and maintain respectful working relationships
  • Clearly demonstrate enthusiasm about their work and must be able to function effectively and purposefully in a dynamic environment
  • Ability to deal with difficult situations and potentially unhappy customers
  • Capable of working with minimal supervision
  • Computer literacy with applicable software knowledge along with shop parts experience
  • Previous 7495 and/or shovel experience will be considered assets
  • Experience with SIS, AIMS, Antares, SIMSi, InfoCast, Lawson M3, Landmark Smart Office, M3 Sales Automation and the MS Office Package will be considered assets
  • Industry experience in the following areas would be considered strong assets to a successful candidacy: mining, heavy construction and technology products

Note:

  • This position will work a 7x7 straight days continuous shift rotation based at CNRL Horizon
  • Role will be required to work on customer system, Maximo – training will be provided
  • Candidate selection will be in compliance with the Terms & Conditions of the current Collective Agreement
