Job Summary: This position works directly with the sales teams in conjunction with external lenders by providing finance solutions for new and used Truck, Trailer, and Hydrovac purchases, rentals, and Rental Purchase Agreement opportunities. The position requires a self-motivated, well-organized individual who can work effectively with a variety of people. Must be able to assimilate a broad range of information simultaneously, work in a fast-paced environment, schedule priority work effectively, be results oriented and work successfully with minimal supervision.

Essential Functions:


·         Models, promotes, reinforces, and rewards the consistent use of HOLT’s Values Based Leadership (VBL) tools, models, and processes to ensure alignment with our Vision, Values, and Mission


·         Coordination of finance opportunities to enhance the level of new sales and rental unit conversions


·         Produces additional revenue for the dealership by selling finance and insurance programs and other appropriate after-sale items


·         Converts cash deals to finance where appropriate


·         Works with sales to secure a reasonable profit from every sale Ensures collection of all finance and insurance fees


·         Providing payoffs for conversion contracts, providing quotes on finance options and handling communication between customers, sales, and lenders.


·         High levels of communication and moderate in person interaction with customers


·         Establishes and maintains good working relationships with multiple finance sources, including the manufacturers


·         Checks all documentation for, including but not limited to, correct title, lien information, taxes and customer information


·         Submission of financial packages and closing of finance packages


·         Track and coordinate deal package from submittal to completion, including funding from lender


·         Provides reports to Management as requested


·         Works safely at all times and adheres to all applicable safety policies; complies with all company policies, procedures, and standards


·         Performs other duties as assigned


Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:


·         Self-motivated, well- organized individual who can work effectively with a variety of people


·         Assimilate a broad range of information simultaneously


·         Work in a fast- paced environment and schedule priority work effectively


·         Results oriented and work successfully with minimal supervision


·         PC literacy in MS Excel, MS Word, and the Internet


·         Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills


·         Strong finance acumen preferred


·         Ability to learn and develop HOLT’s VBL Culture to successfully model behaviors that align with the company's values and mission


Education and Experience:


·         Finance or Business Degree and/or 4-6 practical financial training or experience is required, in lieu of education


·         Property and Casualty Insurance License preferred


·         One or more years of Finance Sales consumer or commercial experience is required

None


Travel:


·         No more than 50% travel

·         This position involves extended periods in a stationary position; additionally, occasional movement inside the office to access office machinery, file cabinets, etc.

·         Frequently communicates with others, must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations


·         Occasionally moves materials or equipment weighing up to 10 lbs.


Work Environment:


·         Regularly works indoors office environment and remote from home in environmentally controlled conditions


·         Frequently works at fast pace with unscheduled interruptions
