Out of Territory Sales Representative (Heavy Equipment)

About the Position:
- The successful candidate must be able communicate to customers all applicable products and programs, including financial and merchandising plans, handle customer concerns quickly through proper channels.
- Must demonstrate administrative requirements to complete appropriate paperwork, log and input data, conduct trade inspections, manage expenses, follow leads and understand and follow policies.
- Ideal candidate will professionally represent the company by continuing industry education and attending meetings, by coordinating with member companies, other departments and fellow employees.
- Appropriate presentation at all levels is expected.
- You will report directly to the General Manager for Used Equipment – HGI.
- It will be very important for you to promote and adhere to strict safety standards and maintain company assets in good condition.
Qualifications & Experience Needed:
- We are looking for candidates that have strong PC skills with MS Office, strong knowledge of heavy equipment and general understanding of the sales process.
- Previous commission sales experience highly desirable.
- Must have strong pioneering sales skills and an outgoing personality in person, online and verbally over the phone.
- Must possess a valid driver's license.
- This position is an office based sales position and is located at our Seattle, WA branch.
- Bilingual (Spanish) speaking candidate is preferred.
- BA/BS preferred.
Lucrative Earning Potential: On target earnings (OTE) potential for the first year is $90,000 which includes a base salary and draw of $54,000 per year plus commission.
