REQUIREMENTS:

Must have a valid driver's license. Must have a high school diploma or equivalent. Must be able to pass background, physical exam, and drug screen. Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal skills are required.

 

Job Summary:

Work safely, following Stowers PPE guidelines and requirements. Responsible for loading and unloading New, Used, and Rental fleet equipment with little or no supervision. Performs any and all yard work assigned by supervisor or lead person. Work must be completed successfully within an acceptable timeframe with a minimum amount of supervision. Scan and inventory machines and attachments weekly.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES :  

Load and unload machines, assist customers, company drivers, outside haulers, and over-the-road drivers.

Supports and responds to Heavy Rents coordinator, Used Equipment team, and Service department in a timely manner when needed.

Safely uses or operates equipment (such as forklifts, telehandlers, wheel loaders, aerial lifts, and excavators to load and unload new, used, and rental equipment).

 Willing to work Saturdays and overtime as needed.  Responds to emergency call-out situations.

Reports all machine damage or missing parts to appropriate personnel at the time the machine is returned and also sends photos of damaged areas. Tag out machines if deemed unsafe.

 Fuels machines and aerial lifts, records hour meter reading, and captures before/after photos of all machines/attachments coming and going. Also logs machines into DBS and record 360 with photos

Scan and reconcile and Barcode inventory weekly and send it to the appropriate personnel.

Keeps yard inventory updated and organized.

 Maintain accurate shipping/receiving records on equipment and/or attachments entering and leaving the yard.

 Keeps yard areas organized and maintained. Keep Machines on the yard organized and gravel areas maintained and leveled.  Report problems to appropriate personnel. keep hazardous materials in proper safety areas).

 Follow verbal and written instructions from the supervisor and or lead person with little or no additional direction. Able to read and comprehend simple written instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Able to write simple correspondence. Able to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions in a timely manner.

 Checks all fluid levels on rental equipment when not busy. Performs weekly start-up and battery checks of all equipment that is in inventory. Jump-start machines if needed
