Finance Manager
Description
The Finance Manager is responsible for directing and coordinating activities related to equipment financing, financial data analysis, and securing financing solutions for customers. This role works closely with sales teams to develop financing strategies that drive equipment sales while maintaining strong relationships with financing partners.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
· Maintain a comprehensive understanding of all finance subsidy programs through Caterpillar Inc., Caterpillar Redistribution Services, Inc. (CRSI), Caterpillar Financial Services Corporation (CFSC), and other financing companies.
· Develop and implement financing strategies to support equipment sales by leveraging available programs and financing options.
· Work closely with sales managers and sales representatives to create innovative financing solutions that enhance sales volume
· Train sales teams and assistants on subsidy programs, financing options, financial software, and calculator usage.
· Provide hands-on assistance to sales representatives in all aspects of equipment financing.
· Educate sales staff on the proper completion of financing documents, including installment sales contracts (ISC) and lease agreements.
· Establish and maintain relationships with finance companies to facilitate deal approvals.
· Submit equipment financing applications for approval and negotiate financing terms with lenders.
· Travel with Sales Representatives to better understand customer needs and equipment financing requirements.
· Provide support for credit processes, including credit applications, document review, and term deal approvals.
Requirements
WHAT YOU'LL NEED
· Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university.
· Minimum of five years of experience as a Credit Manager (in the heavy equipment industry is preferred.)
· Strong knowledge of finance and credit processes, including subsidy programs and financing options.

This position can be stressful in times of high boom in the industry. Ability to stay calm, prioritize, and delegate time responsibility is a must.
Required travel up to 10%.
This position is considered a safety sensitive position.
