Plant Mechanic
Reporting into the Workshop Supervisor, the Plant Mechanic will join our Geraldton Branch on a Full Time Basis. This role involves supporting all Caterpillar products within the Midwest area through the Geraldton workshop.
The Geraldton branch is dedicated to providing top-tier machinery solutions and support that cater to the evolving needs of the mining industry. Our expert team is focused on delivering innovative, reliable, and efficient Caterpillar equipment to maximize productivity and ensure operational safety.
Roster options: Residential to Geraldton:
9/5 - 9 days on, 5 days off (10 hours each day plus 30 mins. break)
What You’ll Do:
- Support WesTrac’s customers through performing workshop duties.
- Working well within a team to manage and complete high volume tasks efficiently.
- Promote, encourage and monitor safety to a high standard whilst undertaking all tasks.
Skills & Experience:
- Australian recognised Heavy Mobile Plant Trade Certificate.
- Experience with diagnostic and fault-finding.
- Demonstrated ability to work under pressure in an efficient manner.
- Previous experience working on Caterpillar products.
- Strive to assist the Customer to achieve machine availability and reliability KPI’s.
