Rental General Sales Manager
- Develop and establish a culture that prioritizes safety, customer satisfaction, and employee development in alignment with the Foley MVPs.
- Develop and implement short and long-term strategies and structures to profitably grow market share.
- Regularly identify strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats in the market, specifically with competitors. Identify and exploit new market opportunities.
- Set and manage annual objectives including budgets, goals, headcount, fleet inventories, capital expenditure requests, and marketing.
- Build a rapport with senior leaders, align priorities, and achieve shared goals.
- Oversee rental operations consistency and customer experience at multiple locations by directing the development and implementation of rental coordination and rental sales policies.
- Manage rental manager performance on various aspects, including employee behaviors, attitude, technique, territory, opportunity coverage, profitability, sales volume, new account generation, CRM use, and overall performance.
- Travel is required for training and/or to assist at other locations.
- Minimum of 3 years prior management experience.
- Experience with profit and loss responsibility.
- Strong knowledge of the construction industry.
- Demonstrated ability to positively motivate and manage others, creating a high-performing team.
- Exceptional customer relations and communication skills, ensuring outstanding service and satisfaction.
- Strong computer skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in business or related field or equivalent experience is preferred
- Prefer experience in heavy equipment sales management or rental sales management.
- Familiarity with rental equipment market, its uses, and industry needs.
- Prior experience managing multiple locations across an assigned territory.
