Merchandise Coordinator
Reporting into CPU Sales & Distribution Manager, the Merchandise Coordinator will join our team on a Full-time basis at our South Guildford branch. This role involves providing excellent customer service to CAT shop patrons to ensure growth and stability of Caterpillar merchandise sales.
Roster: Monday – Friday 8.5 hours/ day (including meal break)
What You’ll Do:
- Assist CAT shop customers with their inquiries, ensuring prompt and helpful responses.
- Coordinate stock orders with suppliers, maintaining good relationships.
- Use effective marketing and sales techniques to display products attractively.
- Process all orders promptly and inform customers of any backorders or discontinued items.
- Manage stock, including ordering, receiving, picking, packing, and fulfilling orders according to customer delivery or collection specifications
- Cover CSC Reception Area breaks, and any other leave when required
Skills & Experience:
- Previous experience in a customer service and/or sales role
- Experience working with SAP & DBS is highly desirable
- Advanced computer literacy skills (MS Office Suite and internet-based application skills)
- Excellent communication skills (written/verbal/interpersonal)
- Demonstrated time management and organisational skills
- Ability to work under pressure and manage competing priorities
