Main Duties & Responsibilities

Primary Job Role

Monitors compensation, performance evaluation, progressive discipline and other human resources programs to ensure compliance with current policies and regulatory requirements. Consults with the HR Operations Manager and legal resources (as needed) to provide and obtain applicable information to ensure the consistent administration of human resources programs/procedures. Oversee the onboarding of new hires and manage performance management system.

Responds to employee relation issues such as employee complaints, harassment allegations, and civil rights complaints, recommends appropriate action be taken in accordance with regulatory requirements, company policy and past practice

Gathers all documents, conducts interviews and works closely with the legal team (internal and external) for any HR legal proceedings.

Assists HR Operations Manager in identifying, analyzing and adjusting policies / procedures to ensure consistency and compliance with employment regulations.

Develop/maintain the affirmative action programs; files EEO-1 report annually; maintains and files all other records, reports, and logs to conform to EEO regulations.

Is the main contact / coordinator for all unemployment claims that need to be disputed on Ring Powers behalf.

Reviews exit interviews and analyzes data and makes recommendations to the management team for corrective action and continuous improvement.

Partners with employees and management to communicate various Human Resources policies, procedures, laws, standards and government regulations. Facilitates and/or provides training to the workforce as needed.

Qualifications

Education and Experience:

Formal Education High School diploma or GED

Experience 7 or more years

Required/Credentials:

Able to easily and effectively comprehend written material and communicate orally and in writing with employees and customers.

Not Required but Highly Desired Criteria:

PHR or SHRM-CP

Updating of Knowledge

Job requirements frequently change requiring re-training once or more per year.
