What You Will Be Doing:
As the Lubricants Business Leader, you will assist the outside Product Support Sales Team to identify and target potential customers and generate new business opportunities. You will also build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with customers, Product Support Sales force, distributors, and other stakeholders, while developing a thorough understanding of the assigned territory, including market trends, customer profiles, and potential growth areas.

Sales And Business Development

Assist the outside Product Support Sales Team to identify and target potential customers in their assigned territory to generate new business opportunities.
- Conduct market research to understand customer needs, preferences, and competitors' activities.
- Present and promote CAT lubricant products to customers, highlighting their features, benefits, and competitive advantages.
- Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline by actively prospecting and qualifying leads.
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve sales targets and maximize revenue.
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and conditions with customers to secure profitable deals.

Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with customers, Product Support Sales force, distributors, and other stakeholders.
- Provide excellent customer service and support, addressing customer inquiries, resolving complaints, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Conduct regular business reviews with key accounts to identify opportunities for growth and ensure customer retention.

Territory Management
- Develop a thorough understanding of the assigned territory, including market trends, customer profiles, and potential growth areas.
- Plan and prioritize sales activities to maximize productivity and achieve sales objectives.
- Monitor and analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify opportunities and adjust sales strategies accordingly.
- Collaborate with internal teams, such as marketing, supply chain, and technical support, to ensure seamless customer experiences and effective product delivery.

Reporting And Analysis
- Maintain accurate sales records, including customer interactions, sales activities, and pipeline updates, using the company's CRM system.
- Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and analysis for management, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
- Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and product knowledge to enhance sales effectiveness and stay competitive.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Participate in required safety program, and work in a safe manner
- Complete additional tasks as assigned by management
Who We Are Looking For:
To be successful in this position you should have prior experience in sales with strong leadership skills, a competitive nature and initiative. This position also requires someone who enjoys talking to people, developing relationships with customers, and working in a team environment.
Education/Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Bachelor's Degree in business, marketing, engineering, or a related field preferred.
- Proven track record of success in lubricants sales or a similar field, with a minimum of 5 years of experience.
Required Qualifications/Skills:
- Strong technical knowledge of lubricants and related products.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with customers and negotiate effectively.
- Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Strong business acumen and understanding of market dynamics.
- Ability to adapt to changing market conditions and work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
