Sr. Business Analyst - Manufacturing
Job Summary: The Sr. Business Analyst supports the Manufacturing business collecting and analyzing operational, financial, quality, and performance-related data and serving as the product owner for the manufacturing technology solutions. This position additionally aids in quality document control and the evaluation of processes, projects and initiatives in support of the company’s strategic goals and objectives.
The incumbent in this position is expected to model the following practices on a daily basis: 1) Demonstrate alignment with the company's mission and core business values; 2) Collaborate with key internal/external resources;
3) Participate in ongoing self-development.
Essential Functions:
- Monitors, promotes, reinforces, and reqards the consistent use of HOLT’s Values Based Leadership (VBL) tools, models, and processes to ensure alignment with our Vision, Values, and Mission
- Monitors, automates, and improves current business processes to facilitate the best use of business applications and technology in alignment with enterprise growth and needs
- Analyzes and evaluates current Manufacturing Information Technology operational processes and procedures to ensure it meets the evolving needs of the end users, as well as offering proactive solutions
- Evaluate requests for application upgrades and customizations to identify and reduce the impact on business and integrated systems
- Maintains and improves technologies in order to achieve efficiencies and increase productivity
- Basic business applications knowledge (including Financials, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Procurement, Inventory, and Integration Logic)
- Remains up-to-date and current on developing business and technology trends as they pertain to finance, business systems, and enterprise goals, objective,s and directions.
- Trains and develops internal customers and Manufacturing staff on the utilization of newly developed procedures/tools to ensure consistent application and understanding
- Establish/document a cross-functional business process model
- Establish and maintain an ISO-compliant QMS repository and record structure
- Administrate and audit cycle counts and inventory control measures
- Build and maintain department and plant metrics and KPIs
- Digitize quality inspection data and processes
- Document control and release management within the Quality Management System
- Provides support to end users, resolving escalated issues arising from operations and requiring coordination throughout various departments or software vendor support
- Requires regular and punctual employee attendance
- Works safely at all times and adheres to all applicable safety policies; complies with all company policies, procedures, and standards
- Performs other duties as assigned
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to understand complex business processes and translate them into system requirements
- Working knowledge of system administration, including knowledge of database management, network protocols, and security measures
- Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders, gather requirements, and provide technical support
- Working knowledge of C#, SQL query structure, business intelligence software stacks such as PowerBI
- Familiarity with customization and configuration of Epicor ERP modules (manufacturing, finance, inventory, etc.)
- Basic accounting knowledge, with understanding of invoices, statements of accounts receivable, payables, and various forms of payment remittances
- Knowledge of sales techniques, financial, credit, and accounting principles
- Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office Products – Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint
- Good judgment skills using common sense and other learned principles
- Exceptional organizational, time management, and multi-tasking skills
- Ability to read, write, and understand information
- Ability to listen to and understand information and ideas presented through spoken words and sentences
- Active listening skills
- Ability to work and collaborate with individuals and groups

Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in business, computer science, finance, or related field required or comparable experience equivalent
- Minimum six years of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and Business Analyst experience required, ten or more years of experience preferred.

Physical Requirements:
- This position involves extended periods in a stationary position; additionally, occasional standing, walking, and stooping
- Constant movement and use of limbs; this position requires good manual dexterity, coordination, and stamina
- Occasionally moves materials or equipment weighing up to 25 lb
- This role frequently communicates with others, and must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations
- This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines

- This job is generally performed in a professional office environment
