Field Welder - DSS (Gillette, Wyoming)

The Field Welder will facilitate welding projects and repairs primarily on shovels, draglines and other heavy industrial equipment. Various levels of knowledge and abilities in the Essential Functions listed below are required and will determine job placement. Successful candidates will be able to function as a Field Welder with little or no direction and/or assistance and must possess a minimum of four years of previous welding experience, 2 of which include heavy equipment experience. Demonstratable use of 1/16” flux core wire is preferred. Successful candidates will be proficient mechanically as welding is only a part of the expectations of the job. Millwright skills are a must in this line of work.
