Position Overview:

This position is responsible for installation, repair and maintenance of both mechanical and electrical equipment as well as switchgear wiring. The successful candidate will be based at our Edmonton Power Systems facility, and will be on a Monday -Friday 5x2 shift

Job Description:

• Service, troubleshoot and repair electrical equipment
• Assist in fulfilling our customer service commitment
• Load testing
• Generator setup, testing, troubleshooting and repair
• Load Bank setup, testing, troubleshooting and repair
• Automatic Transfer Switch setup, testing, troubleshooting and repair

Qualifications:

• Journeyman Electrical Red Seal
• Minimum five years of previous Electrical experience
• Team player capable of working with minimal supervision
• Excellent analytical, interpersonal, organization, and communication skills and a commitment to safety

Assets:

• Previous H.D. Mechanical experience or certification would be an asset
• Previous power generation experience in back up or prime power applications strongly desired
• NGR experience would be an asset
