The Machine Wear Parts Inspector will drive profitable growth by increasing our customer touchpoints and customer experience through the excecution of wear part inspections, utilitzing Caterpillar's Wear Management System to record performance and recommended replacement intervals.
This position can work from Riverside or City of Industry, California.
Wages
Starting wage for the Machine Wear Parts Inspector will depend on experience and education. $50,000 - $100,000
Responsibilities
Essential duties and responsibilities for the include the following. Other duties may be assigned
- Provide and Conduct Inspections and Evaluations of GET & Undercarriage products utilizing CTS Pro and Bucket Pro software to provide recommendations for repairs and maintenance of products that insure optimum product life and value for the customer.
- Work with the Product Support Sales Team, Used Equipment Manager, Machine Sales Representatives and PSSRs to properly match undercarriage and G.E.T to soil/job conditions for enhanced machine performance.
- Assist Quinn Company’s Inventory Control Manager, Branch Parts Managers, Machine Sales Representatives and PSSRs in maintaining proper inventory levels and mix to meet machine requirements and exceed sales objectives.
- Provide updates to PSSRs, ISRs, MSRs and parts countermen as required.
- Act as a liaison between all departments, customers and Caterpillar concerning product problems, trends, opportunities and customer acceptance.
- Monitor and report all pertinent Undercarriage, G.E.T. market information relative to competitive activity, customer information and product performance.
- Work with the PSSRs and ISRs with their recommendations to CVA Manager to develop and manage a comprehensive U/C and GET Fleet Management Program.
Qualifications
- Candidate must be self-motivated, knowledgeable of customer operations, have strong initiative, be approachable, tolerant and a responsible team player.
- Has knowledge of products and services we sell, and sensitive to customer/dealer relationships.
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Technical or Service related experience a plus.
- Overnight travel as necessary
