Position Overview:

Join the Finning Canada family! We are currently seeking a Material Supply Assistant to support our customer located Fort McKay. The Material Supply Assistant is responsible for general warehouse duties including picking and packing orders, loading of parts trucks, verifying bill of landings, shipping orders to meet strict deadlines and warehouse racking dismantling and reassembling.

Our Incentives Include:
• This position supports our client site located at Fort McKay on a 7x7 Continuous Shift rotation
• $38.17 - $46.16 / hour
• $300 / year Boot Allowance

Job Description:

• Picking customer and branch parts orders

• Packing and labeling parts orders for shipment

• Shipping and Receiving

• Loading and unloading of the parts trucks

• Assembly and Disassembly of racking

• Other general warehouse duties as required

Qualifications:

• Minimum grade 12 education

• Previous parts warehousing and/or heavy equipment experience would be considered an asset

• Hold or be willing to achieve crane, forklift and related safety training certifications such as WHIMS and TDG

• Forklift training, and experience working with radio frequency and bar-coding technology would be an asset

• A strong commitment to safety is imperative

• Role located at Fort McKay on a 7x7 Continuous Shift Rotation

• Any future shift changes that may occur will be made in accordance with the terms and conditions of the Collective Agreement.
