Location: various locations in Alberta
Schedule: 7x7 or 14x14 continuous rotation

Job Description:

  • Troubleshooting and repairing Caterpillar and other mechanical equipment
  • Utilize Caterpillar SIS and ET daily 
  • Complete technical documentation (service reports, warranty, crossover notes) 
  • Interact with customers, sales support, and the rest of the Finning team 
  • Work with the Service Supervisor and Lead Hand on various tasks as required 

Qualifications:

  • Journeyperson Heavy Equipment Technician (HET) Certification 
  • Dual Tickets will be an asset
  • Valid driver's license with a successful recent driver abstract 
  • Previous Caterpillar experience is an asset
  • Willingness to participate and complete additional training 
  • Self-motivated, computer literate, and safety orientated with the ability to work under minimal supervision 
  • Team player with excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
