Job Summary:
The Uptime Service Coordinator is responsible for overseeing and managing Ohio Peterbilt Uptime customers. This role focuses on resolving and coordinating breakdown assistance. In this position you will become the liaison between the customer and all parties involved to reduce downtime for Uptime customers.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in heavy equipment or mechanics preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in service coordination, or a similar role, preferably in the automotive, trucking, or fleet maintenance industries.
  • Must have strong computer skills.
  • Effective time management skills required.
  • Strong communication skills required, both verbal and written.
  • Must have a high energy level and be a customer-focused problem solver.

Key Competencies:

  • Develop and maintain relationships with Uptime customers, acting as their primary contact.
  • Record detailed and descriptive daily notes for each customer’s interaction.
  • Stay up to date on OEM Warranty, Campaigns and Recalls.
  • Handle and resolve service-related concerns and breakdown assistance.
  • Assist in resolving road breakdown events for Uptime customers.
  • Monitor Uptime customer fleet within Connected Truck to help reduce customer downtime.
  • Act as liaison between all parties, representing Ohio Peterbilt in a professional manner.
  • Performs all other duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements:
Primary functions require sufficient physical ability and mobility to work in an office setting; to stand or sit for prolonged periods; to occasionally stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, reach, and twist; to lift, carry, push, and/or pull light to moderate amounts of weight; to operate office equipment requiring repetitive hand movement and fine coordination including use of a computer keyboard; and to verbally communicate to exchange information. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet in office settings and moderate to loud in other situations, with both constant and sudden loud noises possible.
