The Gas Compression Technician is responsible for repairs, maintenance and overhauls on natural gas and diesel engines, compressors, generators and attachments in the field.

Location: Greater Fort Nelson area
Schedule: 14x14 continuous shift

Job Description:

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, overhaul and repair equipment related to Natural Gas Compression & Energy Power Generation: natural gas & diesel engines, compressors, generators and attachments

Qualifications:

• Journeyperson Heavy Equipment Technician Certification
• Journeyperson Certification in Millwright, Mechanic, Electrician, and Automotive may also be considered
• Demonstrated experience with all makes of Gas Compression equipment (G3600 A4 an asset)
• Experience with commissioning is considered an asset
• Gas Compression and Well Servicing experience is an asset,
• Non-Caterpillar experience such as Waukesha, Ariel, Cummins,, etc is recognized as an asset.
