Engine Technician Fellowship - Hiring Our Heroes (HOH)
- Must be active duty U.S. Military members (or spouse) with approximately 180 days of time in service remaining.
- Must be accepted into the Hiring Our Heroes (HOH) 25-2 cohort.
- Perform all levels of repair and preventative maintenance on engines as well as diagnose and troubleshoot problems, give recommendations for repairs and make all critical repairs and adjustments
- Must be willing to work overtime as required by fluctuating workloads and available for after-hours calls as needed
- Create a work environment that is considerate of the customer’s needs
- Travel is required for training and/or to assist at other locations.
- Basic mechanical knowledge including electrical and hydraulics
- General knowledge of basic hand tools, air tools, precision measuring tools and instruments
- Must be able to read and comprehend specifications, service and parts literature, technical bulletins, schematics, line diagrams and other related publications.
- Experience with all makes and models of engine rebuilds
- Stable work history
- Comfortable operating various types of equipment and implements, diagnostic tooling, various shop hand and electric tools and overhead hoists/cranes
- Ability to foster positive relationships internally and externally
