Parts Manager

Pay: $87,000-$110,000/year (dependent on experience)
Bonus Potential: 20%

Key qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in parts operations, inventory management, or a related field; heavy equipment industry experience highly preferred
  • Supervisory or management experience leading a team in a parts or service environment, with working knowledge or exposure to inventory operations 
  • High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word, Teams) for reporting, communication, and data analysis, and the capability to learn proprietary company systems
  • Strong background in customer service and supporting internal/external customers
  • Proven analytical and forecasting skills for budgeting, planning, and resource allocation
  • Strong problem‑solving skills to identify operational challenges and implement solutions
  • Proven ability to hire, develop, coach, and retain talent
  • Commitment to workplace safety, safe work habits, and adherence to Environmental, Health, & Safety policies
  • Strong attention to detail to ensure inventory accuracy and integrity

Responsibilities

Successfully sell parts of recognized superior value to ensure financial stability

  • Generate growth through parts sales
  • Determine and fulfill customer needs
  • Ensure accuracy and integrity of parts inventory
  • Have the people needed to supply the parts
  • Have methods to deliver parts to customers
  • Have parts to sell

 

Effectively manage department operations to provide fast, accurate service and maximize efficiency, productivity and profitability 

  • Continually monitor, measure and improve processes
  • Utilize problem solving skills to provide effective solutions
  • Forecast and budget resource to satisfy forecasts
  • Maximize use of available resources

Qualifications

Physical Requirements:
 

  • Standing and/or sitting for prolonged periods of time
  • Hand coordination for typing, writing, and computer use
  • Occasional forward bending and reaching
  • Occasional walking and climbing stairs
  • Carrying (up to 20lbs.)
