General Line Sales Representative

What You Will Be Doing:
As a Prime Product Sales Representative you will support our customers in your designated territory. Candidates would need to be based around Albany, Leesburg, or Tifton. The Prime Product Sales Representative is responsible for top line growth, sales forecasting, and pipeline development through managing assigned accounts through the sale or rental of products and services offered by Yancey. The Sales Representative will serve as the primary liaison between Yancey Bros. Co. and the customer.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Responsible for helping develop and execute Earth Moving sales growth targets and orders operating plan via penetration of existing key accounts and new project key opportunities
- Development of growth strategies, including sales initiatives, and customer mapping/penetration
- Drive aggressive growth targets: volume, mix, penetration, and timing
- Participate in cross-functional business activities
Additional Responsibilities:
- Participate in required safety program, and work in a safe manner.
- Additional duties as assigned by manager.
Who We Are Looking For:
To be successful in this position you should have prior sales experience within an assigned territory, knowledge of tools applicable to the position and the desire to learn. You should possess a strong sense of urgency and desire to provide superior customer service. The ability to take direction and work in a team environment is essential to this position as well.
Education/Experience:
- Specific industry experienced desired or an equivalent college degree
Required Qualifications/Skills:
- Must be able and willing to travel regularly
- Qualified candidate MUST have prior outside sales experience calling on contractors. Prefer experience with selling large-ticket items.
- High energy, excellent communication skills, and a strong work ethic required.
Preferred Qualifications/Skills:
- Prior territory management experience preferred
