Now’s your chance to join our world‑class Component Rebuild Centre as a Plant Mechanic, where you’ll work with cutting‑edge equipment, iconic Caterpillar machines, and a team dedicated to excellence.

What You’ll Do:

As a key member of our Powertrain - Transmissions team, you’ll be hands‑on with the rebuild, repair and assembly of major Caterpillar components—such as transmissions and torque converters. Every day brings something new, and your craftsmanship will directly support Australia’s mining and construction industries.

Your Roster

• Monday to Friday
• 2 weeks day shift, 2 weeks night shift
• 10.5‑hour days
• Perth‑based—you’re home every night

Skills and Experience:

• An Australian‑recognised trade qualification (Light Vehicle, Heavy Duty, Bus/Truck Mechanic)
• Caterpillar or dealership experience (advantageous but not essential)
• Component rebuild experience—a major plus!
• Strong diagnostic and fault‑finding abilities
• Confidence to work autonomously and communicate clearly
• Familiarity with JSA, Take 5s and other safety tools
• Dogging and forklift tickets (or willingness to obtain)
