Heavy Equipment Shop Technician
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostics, repairs, and preventive maintenance on a variety of heavy equipment including excavators, bulldozers, loaders, etc.
- Inspect equipment to identify mechanical issues and ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Utilize technical manuals, schematics, and diagnostic tools to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
- Maintain accurate service records and documentation of work performed.
- Collaborate with parts and service teams to ensure timely completion of repairs.
- Keep work area clean, organized, and compliant with safety regulations.
- Assist with equipment upgrades and modifications as needed
Work Environment:
- Shop-based role with occasional outdoor work.
- Exposure to noise, dust, and heavy machinery.
- Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) required.
