Parts Operations Manager
EQUIREMENTS:
College Degree preferred High school diploma or equivalent. Three years or more of management experience is normally required. Strong verbal, written, analytical and interpersonal skills are required. In-depth knowledge of DBS Parts, Inventory Control, and Warehousing is preferred. Basic Accounting knowledge preferred. Must have a valid drivers' license. Must be able to pass a physical exam and drug screening test. Must be able to pass skills tests to be considered.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Will assist the Parts Ops Manager with the following:
Inventory control and backorder expediting
DBS and ANTARES coordination
Caterpillar’s Parts Inventory Collaboration (PIC) system
Learn the Inventory Control Coordinator’s duties and responsibilities
Parts pricing and sell rates
Parts invoicing
Accounting, monthly and fiscal year-end preparations
Inventory reconciliation
REMAN cores
Departmental software training and implementation
Surplus parts returns
Documenting departmental procedures
Dealer Parts Inventory Sharing (DPIS)
Interacting with IT and FDC Solutions to resolve system issues
Special projects as assigned
