Job Description:
Trouble shoot, repair and maintain CAT equipment in either a shop or field environment (possibility of remote locations)
Respond to customer needs in a positive, supportive, and timely manner to ensure maximum value for work performed.
Diagnose faults or malfunctions using computerized and other testing equipment to determine extent of repair required
Providing support with reference to on-site safety requirements
Maintain Finning Customer Service Commitment
Specific Skills & Experience:
Interprovincial Journeyperson Heavy Equipment Mechanic, Agriculture or Automotive Certification
Valid class 5 drivers license with a successful driver's abstract
Strong experience in Electrical, Hydraulic and Emissions systems
Engine and/or component rebuilding experience
Transmission or Hydraulic testing knowledge
Previous gas engine and power generation experience is an asset
Previous customer experience would be considered an asset
Important Details:
This is a Monday to Friday position based out of our Swift Current branch but will require travel
3rd or 4th Year Apprentices will be considered
A condition of employment may include the ability to obtain Customer Site access (Drug & Alcohol, fitness testing) and wear a respirator where applicable
