Product Support Sales Representative
- Responsible for the parts and service development between assigned customer base and the dealer through pre-determined equipment management strategies involving maintenance, power train repair and undercarriage repair.
- Provides recommendations to customer to lower owning and operating costs, utilizing available resources to predict and track all maintenance and repairs critical to equipment reliability.
- Performs an average of 12 machine inspections per week per month.
- Performs at least 1 CTS inspection on each Track Type machine in territory per year and then as needed to achieve maximum useful life of undercarriage for the customer.
- Performs machine inspections as needed based on customer demand and hourly usage with no less than one inspection per machine each year
- Maintains call performance on all assigned accounts with a minimum of 1 call per quarter on all accounts.
- Revisits all new machines delivered in territory within in the first 250 hours.
- Quotes all new machines delivered in territory with at least a 2,000-hour PM and quotes TM&R when applicable
- Achieves an acceptable level of sales on TM&R and PM contracts quoted.
- Executes planned daily activities and provides a report for accomplished tasks on a weekly basis.
- Knowledgeable and proficient in using software packages and CTS tooling...SOMA, MCS, CTS5.5, MS Excel, MSWord, MS Power Point, Lotus Notes(Email), PM Planner, CTS Ultrasonic and Mechanical Tools
- Strives to maintain 100% accuracy for Caterpillar equipment serial numbers on the machine population for Fleet, Large and Medium size customers.
- Effectively promotes focus programs by identifying, pursuing, and penetrating target accounts.

Must have the physical ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including protective glasses, protective gloves, and protective clothing and footwear as required by the job.

Able to work a standard five-day schedule, including daily overtime and occasional weekend hours as needed.
Meet all eligibility requirements to drive Company vehicles, including a current, valid driver’s license issued by the resident State.
Physical Requirements
Pass a pre-employment background check, physical exam including drug screen, and meet all physical requirements for the position.
Able to lift 20-70 pounds occasionally. And push or pull up to 100 pounds.
