Dispatch Coordinator
- Effectively dispatch trucks to optimize productivity, ensuring timely and efficient transportation of goods.
- Provide excellent customer service to internal and external stakeholders, building strong relationships and addressing inquiries or concerns.
- Adhere to company policies and Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) regulations, promoting a culture of safety and compliance.
- Work in a fast-paced environment, successfully balancing multiple priorities while maintaining a strong focus on safety.
- Travel is required for training and/or to assist at other locations.
- Brings previous dispatch experience, demonstrating a solid understanding of transportation logistics and scheduling.
- Performs tasks with a high attention to safety and detail.
- Possesses a strong understanding of DOT regulations, ensuring compliance and maintaining high standards.
- Is proficient in computer skills and adaptable to new software.
- Exhibits excellent time management, organizational, and communication skills, effectively coordinating transportation loads.
- Excels in delivering outstanding customer service, responding with a sense of urgency and professionalism.
- Knowledge of construction equipment size, weight, and operation, enhancing dispatch decision-making and efficiency.
- Previous customer service experience
