The Customer Service Representative (CSR) is a key internal and external customer liaison for a Major Customer(s) and coordinates the work flow of parts, services, and commodities across multiple branches relating to this account(s).

In a typical day, YOU will:



  • Demonstrate workplace safety, environmentally sound, healthy behaviors at all times in support of Toromont’s Health and Safety Policy, Programs and initiatives

  • Priority contact for urgently required items and backorders

  • Direct and assist warehouse staff to ensure orders are prepped, staged and shipped in a timely fashion

  • Assist Customer(s) with backorder review and tracking as well as finding solutions to meet schedules

  • Organize shipments of Cat and Reman core returns from multiple sites in a timely fashion

  • Attend to the needs and concerns of all necessary branches involved and provide one point of contact on parts related items

  • Arrange carrier shipments of Major Components

  • Communicate and work closely with PSSRs on account(s) to achieve goals pertaining to growth and customer loyalty

  • Stock customer sites with required consumables and parts

  • Process parts warranty claims

  • Provide parts support to on-site Technicians and client group

  • Review and manage parts return process to improve performance

  • Assist with GET and undercarriage planning, stocking, and ordering via available systems

  • Grow commodity business with this account(s)


 Must-haves for this role:



  • Post Secondary Education with 3+ years of Parts or equivalent experience

  • Customer focused with the ability to cultivate and maintain positive customer relationships consistently
