Description
As we enter our tenth successful year of the Summer College Internship Program, we are looking for highly motivated, organized individuals who enjoy problem-solving, working on projects, collaborating with others, and contributing to programs that support employee growth and development.
As a Technician Development Intern, you’ll gain real-world experience supporting technician training initiatives by assisting with scheduling, assessment coordination, instructional content development, and training program planning. This is a great opportunity to learn how companies develop skilled talent, manage training programs, and build structured learning pathways for employees.
- Assist with scheduling technician training sessions and maintaining training calendars
- Support technician development plans and help track progress and completion
- Maintain and update technician rosters and training records
- Help proctor and coordinate technician assessments, ensuring proper documentation
- Assist in developing instructional design materials, training resources, and learning content
- Support the creation of technician development training schedules and project timelines
- Help organize curriculum materials and training documentation
- Collaborate with Technician Development, HR, and operations teams on curriculum development and training projects
- Assist with project planning, coordination, and communication related to technician education initiatives
- A student currently enrolled in a program related to: Instructional Design, Education or Educational Technology, Human Resources, Training & Development, Organizational Development, Business, or a related field.
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Comfortable working with schedules, documents, and basic software tools
- Detail-oriented, dependable, and eager to learn
- Able to manage multiple tasks and collaborate with a team
- Currently enrolled in a 4-year Bachelor’s program at an accredited college or university
- Interest in training, instructional design, workforce development, or technician education
- Available to work full-time for 12 weeks (May 11 through August)
