We are currently hiring a Journeyperson Heavy Duty Mechanic for our Regina Field team.

Job Description:

  • Trouble shooting equipment and perform equipment repairs (possibility of remote locations)
  • Interface with customers, products and sales support
  • Working with the Supervisor on various tasks
  • Providing support with reference to on-site safety requirements
  • Maintain Finning Customer Service Commitment
  • Various related duties as required

Specific Skills & Experience:

  • Interprovincial Journeyperson Heavy Equipment Certification
  • Clean Drivers’ Abstract (5 yr)
  • Dedication to safety
  • Strong experience in Electrical, Hydraulic and Emissions systems
  • Transmission or Hydraulic testing experience
  • Strong interpersonal and communications skills, both written and verbal
  • Understanding of the Caterpillar product line will be considered an asset
  • Engine and/or component rebuilding experience would be considered an asset
  • Power generation experience would be considered an asset

Important Details:

  • This is a position is based out of our Regina on a Monday-Friday (5x2) shift
  • Travel around the Regina area, with the potential to be at a remote site
  • A condition of employment may be the ability to obtain Customer Site Access (may include Drug & Alcohol, and Fitness testing)
