The Fleet Support Coordinator is responsible for fleet reporting, proactive recommendations, and support of procurement and disposal of new, rental and used equipment fleets in a manner that reflects the company’s vision of working as “One Professional Team.” This position includes data analysis, data entry, report generation, improvement recommendations, and occasional presentation of statuses or findings to groups of managers. The Fleet Support Coordinator aids in the implementation of fleet management and optimization strategies.
Pay Rate: $60,670.86 - $83,425.94 Annually
Pay is dependent upon education & experience.
Essential Functions:

- Administers movement of machines between new, used, fixed asset, or rental fleets
- Supports Procurement, management or disposal of Cat, Allied and work tool inventory
- Analyzes fleet utilization, ROI, missed rentals, and other data to recommend correct fleet mix for each region, location
- Assists Regional Management team to develop and implement processes to optimize fleet ROI
- Process Quotes and POs with Vendors & Salesteam
- Invoice processing & troubleshooting
- Maintains accurate inventory movement records
- Generate ad-hoc reports as needed by management
- Communicates recommended fleet changes proactively
- Assists Regional Management and Used Equipment Manager in equipment rollouts or fleet additions
- Presents findings or recommendations to Regional Management or Executive Leadership
- Periodically participates in inventory planning meetings & inventory meetings
- Works with other departments in relation to VIN’s, SMM’s, MSO’s Licensing, or accounting needs
- Works independently as well as in a team
- Possesses strong presentation and communication skills
- Other duties as assigned by manager
Required Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, or Accounting
- 3+ years’ experience analyzing data
- 5+ years administrative/clerical experience
- 3+ years customer service experience
Physical Demands & Competencies:
- Standing, walking, talking, sitting, use of hands & hearing
- Sedentary work that primarily involves sitting/standing but may require occasionally lifting and/or moving up to 25 pounds
- Data Entry, telephone, reading/writing, reasoning, organizational, communication & math skills
- Safety & Product Knowledge
- Heavy Equipment Knowledge and Experience
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
