Step into a powerhouse of innovation and legacy as you report directly to our Service Supervisor at our Laverton branch. We're looking for a highly motivated Diesel Technician – New Equipment to join our crew full-time – someone ready to get hands-on with some of the most advanced machinery on the planet.
In this dynamic role, you’ll take ownership of new machine build-ups from start to finish – completing pre-delivery inspections, installing accessories, fitting attachments and setting up Caterpillar technology systems. You’ll ensure every machine is delivered ready to perform, while maintaining a safe, efficient work environment and delivering exceptional value to our customers.

ABOUT THE ROLE
Key responsibilities of this role include:
• Carry out the new machine build-up requirements for all new Cat equipment
• Assist and mentor apprentices and service technicians
• Prepare all paperwork relating to the completion of all jobs
• Ensure all machines are built and delivered as per customer specifications and expectations
• Ensuring appropriate Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's) are applied
• Comply with all company safety, health & environment procedures
• Ensure that the surrounding work area is clean and safe.
ABOUT YOU
To be considered for this role you will have the following skills, experience and attributes:
• Experience in servicing and/or repairing of automotive and/or earthmoving equipment
• Highly developed communication skills
• Self-motivated and team orientated
• Proven ability to work unsupervised under all conditions
• Willing to work overtime and be flexible
• Have an agile way of thinking to get the best outcome for all involved
