Are you a strategic sales leader who thrives on building high-performing teams and strong customer relationships? As a Regional Sales Manager, you’ll lead sales teams, shape regional strategy, and drive growth through collaboration, customer focus, and execution.

 

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of sales professionals through effective hiring, training, goal setting, and performance management.
  • Create and execute regional sales strategies aligned with company goals to grow revenue, profitability, and market share.
  • Partner directly with key customers, supporting the sales team in relationship management, negotiations, and closing opportunities.
  • Analyze market trends, customer needs, pricing strategies, and competitive activity to guide sales decisions.
  • Collaborate with internal partners to develop market-specific programs that strengthen competitiveness and drive results.
  • Design and manage sales territories, account assignments, and lead distribution to ensure balanced coverage and strong performance.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to distributors and customers on effective sales and marketing strategies.
  • Foster a high-performance culture by building strong relationships, encouraging collaboration, and supporting continuous improvement.
  • Deliver impactful sales presentations to key customers in partnership with sales representatives.
  • Act as the primary liaison between the sales team and other internal departments to ensure alignment and execution.
  • Monitor sales performance, prepare forecasts and reports, and identify opportunities for customer and market expansion.
  • Develop and manage the regional sales budget, balancing revenue growth with responsible expense control.
  • Represent the company at trade shows, industry events, and association meetings.
  • Track competitive activity and market dynamics to maintain a strong regional position. 

Supervisory Responsibilities

  • Directly supervise up to 10 employees, including hiring, onboarding, coaching, performance evaluations, recognition, and corrective action, in accordance with company policies and applicable laws.
 

 

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

  • Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university, or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
  • Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop sales teams while building strong customer relationships.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage customers, employees, and leadership.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret business data, market trends, and performance metrics.
  • Ability to prepare professional reports, business correspondence, and sales presentations.
  • Comfortable presenting to groups of managers, customers, and industry partners.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • General computer proficiency required.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
