Ziegler CAT has an opening for an Equipment Management Supervisor to manage and develop processes to improve how Ziegler’s fleet of customer owned and rental equipment operates more efficiently and cost effectively utilizing equipment telematics, fluid samples, equipment inspections and machine service history information. This role will also serve as Dealer Champion with Caterpillar on fleet management solutions while providing direction to the dealership on utilizing connected asset information and equipment management practices to maximize operational efficiencies for both Ziegler and customers. Additionally, they will oversee the administration of Customer Value Agreements and standard job creation while developing market strategies for preventative maintenance, fixed cost maintenance and repair, and various other Customer Value Agreement (CVA) offerings.

Responsibilities:

  • Develops, reviews and implements processes related to how Ziegler and customers utilize equipment data
  • Assists Sales, Marketing and other internal partners in developing, pricing and reviewing the performance of new and existing CVA offerings
  • Coordinates and engages with branches to determine what repairs are needed on equipment
  • Reviews all contract terms and agreements to minimize risk to the dealership while maximizing value to customers
  • Continually reviews and improves internal processes related to the administration of CVAs and Standard Jobs
  • Develops reports used to summarize and forecast contract profitability and performance
  • Develops and distributes reports on Standard Job usage, utilization, and variances related to pricing and labor
  • Assists Sales with pricing CVA renewals
  • Serves as primary contact with Cat on equipment management practices and solutions
  • Reviews customer contract language for accuracy in order to limit Ziegler's liability
  • Updates contract terms and language as needed
  • Ensures contract obligations are met when determining what repairs are completed on a machine

Qualifications:

  • 4-year college degree preferred, high school diploma/GED required
  • Knowledge and background of construction equipment OEM guidelines
  • Understands machine repairs and shop capabilities
  • Ability to analyze contract financials for the purpose of forecasting contract performance
  • Effective communication skills
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Project management experience
  • Microsoft Office skills, specifically with Excel and various reporting functions
