Regional Power Systems Sales Manager
- Lead and manage a team of Sales Representatives and Project Managers, setting performance targets and providing ongoing coaching and development.
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to meet or exceed company goals in the standby power generation market.
- Facilitate collaboration between the sales and project management teams to ensure alignment on client requirements, project timelines, and quality standards.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities to adjust strategies and maintain a competitive edge.
- Ensure that team operations adhere to industry regulations and company policies.
- Cultivate strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders, enhancing customer satisfaction and long-term partnerships.
- Provide expert guidance on technical aspects of standby power systems to support team members in sales pitches and project execution.
- Analyze sales data and project outcomes to continuously improve processes and team performance.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or related field
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in power systems sales, with at least 3 years in a management role
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and growing market share
- Strong technical knowledge of power generation equipment and electrical distribution systems
- Outstanding communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office suite
- Willingness to travel frequently within the assigned region
- Experience with Caterpillar products and dealer networks
