Education Requirements:


Four year degree required with concentration in business administration, finance, accounting or related field. Relevant work experience can replace education requirement.


Essential Job Functions:



  • Lead and manage Sales Operations Coordinators and Inside Sales Representatives, ensuring alignment with departmental goals and performance standards.

  • Monitor and manage the No Charge list for the sales department to ensure compliance and accuracy.

  • Collaborate with the Service Department to coordinate equipment preparation and configuration for new sales.

  • Partner with the Inventory Team to schedule pre-delivery inspections and align service readiness with sales timelines.

  • Analyze sales trends and forecasts to support inventory planning, stocking strategies, and unit configurations.

  • Submit data for Project CFO and gross margin reporting to support financial transparency and strategic decision-making.

  • Oversee and manage stocking levels of all CCE equipment across multiple locations to ensure optimal availability.

  • Stay informed on new Caterpillar and allied products, and communicate relevant updates to the CCE sales group.

  • Serve as the in-house expert on Caterpillar programs and promotional offerings, staying current on all updates and initiatives. Proactively inform and train the sales team to ensure full understanding and effective utilization of available programs, incentives, and product strategies.

  • Maintain and enhance the Machine Quick Pricing Tools and own all in-house sales-facing applications and software, ensuring functionality, accuracy, and user adoption.

  • Collaborate with internal Marketing and Sales Operations teams, as well as Caterpillar representatives, to execute retail strategies and meet marketing and sales excellence program requirements.

  • Organize and oversee training initiatives for the sales department to support professional development and product knowledge including new employee training and onboarding.

  • Coordinate departmental meetings and activities to foster communication and team engagement.

  • Work with Marketing to plan and execute customer events and company-wide initiatives.

  • Serve as a backup resource for quoting, billing, logistics, and other operational tasks to maintain continuity and support.

  • Serve as a backup for walk-in customer interactions, providing support and ensuring a positive customer experience.

  • Maintain the headquarters and showroom, ensuring full display models, a stocked customer lounge, and up-to-date technology.

Strong knowledge of equipment, construction industry and dealer operations.

Physical and Mental Requirements:


Must be able to pass background check, physical exam and drug screening test.


Work Environment:


Most work is conducted in a comfortable office environment but exposure to site conditions may also occur. Personal protective equipment must be worn in areas as required. Although the work usually is not considered inherently dangerous, employees must be careful while performing onsite services.
