Job Description:
- Trouble shooting equipment and perform equipment repairs (possibility of remote locations)
- Interface with customers, products and sales support
- Working with the Supervisor on various tasks
- Providing support with reference to on-site safety requirements
- Maintain Finning Customer Service Commitment
- Various related duties as required
Specific Skills & Experience:
- Interprovincial Journeyperson Heavy Duty Mechanic
- Valid class 5 drivers license with a clear drivers abstract
- Dedication to safety
- Self motivated with the ability to work with limited supervision
- Strong experience in Electrical, Hydraulic and Emissions systems are required
- Transmission or Hydraulic testing experience
- Strong interpersonal and communications skills, both written and verbal
- Understanding of the Caterpillar product line will be considered an asset
- Engine and/or component rebuilding experience would be considered an asset
- Power generation experience would be considered an asset
Important Notes:
- This position will work a Monday to Friday day shift
- Shift work may be required in the future
- A recent driver’s abstract is required
