Rental Coordinator – Fresno - Quinn CAT Company 

Position Summary:
The Rental Coordinator is responsible for supporting daily rental operations by delivering excellent customer service, coordinating equipment rentals, and ensuring accurate and timely processing of all rental transactions. This role works closely with customers, sales, and service teams to maximize rental revenue and operational efficiency.

Starting wage for the Rental Coordinator will depend on experience and education. $20 - $25

 

  • Deliver high-quality customer service by handling inbound calls, responding to inquiries, and providing rental quotes
  • Assist customers in selecting appropriate equipment based on jobsite requirements, application, and specifications
  • Promote Caterpillar equipment and Quinn Rental Services to maximize rental opportunities
  • Process rental transactions including contracts, invoicing, insurance verification, credit checks, and payment terms
  • Coordinate equipment delivery and pickup; schedule transportation and ensure accurate billing
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date rental records in RentalMan system
  • Perform equipment check-in/check-out and document condition of assets
  • Partner with Service Department to schedule maintenance and repairs; track status and costs
  • Identify and report equipment damage or misuse; ensure proper customer billing
  • Resolve customer issues related to rentals, deliveries, billing, and service in a timely manner
  • Support Outside Sales Representatives with rental opportunities and customer needs
  • Assist with counter operations and general rental store functions
  • Monitor and communicate competitive activity and market trends to management
  • Maintain a professional image and represent Quinn Company and Caterpillar brand standards

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in equipment rental, construction, or heavy equipment industry
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Basic knowledge of billing, contracts, and rental operations
  • Proficiency in computer systems (RentalMan experience preferred)

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
