In the Rail Equipment Sales Specialist role, you will promote railmover products to our customers, develop our position as an industry leader in the sales, rental and support of railmover products. Conduct site surveys with recommendations and participate in the sales process.
 
Job Duties: 
  • Build relationships with customers to learn of their business and needs. Introduce customers to various railmover products that would fulfill their project needs.
  • Educate customers on machine operations, application, and best practices.
  • Conduct production studies to determine current usage of the equipment, assess deficiencies and recommend improvements in the usage of equipment to increase production.
  • Work with sales representatives in making recommendations on product that may better fit customer needs based on production studies.
  • Support branch sales operations in organizing and implementing branch demo days, open houses, and other branch customer promotions.
  • Educate and demonstrate to customers and their employees in fully understanding the product, its capabilities and how to maximize the use of the equipment.
  • Assist customers in troubleshooting application issues.
  • Develop and conduct Operator Training for internal and external customers that fit their specific need.
  • Create and deliver instruction, demonstration and training for customer operators in the safe and efficient operation of railmover products for new, used & rental deliveries.
  • Coordinate customer re-visits with sales representatives to ensure customer satisfaction and transfer of knowledge for operators in usage of equipment.
  • Maintain the skill, knowledge and expertise of all assigned products distributed by the organization. Maintain files of information for use and reference.
  • Stay up-to-date on the features and benefits of competing equipment.
  • Travel is required for training and/or to assist at other locations.
 
Our Ideal Candidate:
  • 3-5 years of related experience and/or training of related equipment
  • Ability to effectively demonstrate and promote products and features to a group
  • Working knowledge of equipment, its use and how equipment is operated
  • Strong computer relations skills 
  • Basic computer skills in Microsoft Office products
  • Ability to drive and valid license required
