JOB SUMMARY
Report analysis of inventory control related material to result in accurate and complete inventory
records.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
• Stock order maintenance
• Physical inventory and bin counts
• Work and research all inventory reports
• Enter location changes
• Work through and follow up on discrepancy claims
• Tracking parts
• Scanning daily information
• Claims (matching claimed amount with resulting credit)
• Work rapid returns
• Bulk and packaged oil
• Price adjustments
• Order miscellaneous parts
ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS
• Periodic relief for Inventory Control Supervisor.
• Assist the Inventory Control Supervisor with the duties as associated with the surplus return.
• Stock Backorder Review and monthly graphs associated with stock order review.
• Monthly review of controlled min/max report.
QUALIFICATIONS/KNOWLEDGE/SKILL/ABILITY
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be able to read, write and understand English.
• Experience in general office and inventory control procedures
• Experience in report analysis with general mathematical and PC abilities including related
hardware and software.
• Knowledge of computerized inventory systems
• Telecommunication and interpersonal skills
• Must be able to meet deadlines, work well under pressure, use good judgment, and
communicate clearly with supervisor.
PHYSICAL/ENVIRONMENTAL REQUIREMENTS
• Material and equipment directly used: Multiline CISCO phone system, PC with related
software, calculator, scanner, fax machine, copy machine, printer; routine and non-routine
use of office software applications.
• Office environment requiring professional dress and appearance.
• May sit/stand for 6-8 hours per day.
• Use of hands for grasping, pushing, pulling and fine manipulation (keying and writing.)
• Look at computer screen for extended periods.
• Walk and or stand for 0-2 hours per day.
