Heavy Diesel Field Service Technician

We’re recruiting for an experienced Field Service Technician to join our Rotorua team. You’ll be out in the field diagnosing, repairing and servicing Caterpillar plant and equipment, mainly across forestry — with plenty of variety across other industries too.

What you’ll be doing

• Diagnosing and fault‑finding on Cat machinery

• Repairing, servicing and rebuilding plant and equipment

• Getting out and about — no two days are the same

• Delivering top‑notch service to our customers

• Completing job admin promptly and accurately

• Working safely and backing each other in this tight team

• Top hourly rates: $36.33 – $46.48 depending on experience

What we’re looking for

• A qualified and experienced Heavy Diesel Technician (could be from agricultural or road transport equipment)

• Solid experience on plant and equipment

• Someone who takes pride in their safety standards and their work

• A team player who can also work confidently on their own

• Strong customer focus and a can‑do attitude
