- Plans and organizes events with divisional managers.
- Develops event costing and determines vendor selection and pricing for event collateral.
- Works with all industry associations to further promote relationships with Ohio Machinery
- Defines the company brand through events.
- Calculates costs and budgets, making necessary adjustments.
- Works with other Marketing staff to promote the event via email, fliers, and social media to increase awareness.
- Ensures that staffing is adequately prepared for the event.
- Pays vendors for their participation in the event.
- Sets up booth and machines for the event.
- Analyzes event performance and, with the Director of Marketing, determines evaluation metrics.
- Performs all other duties as assigned.
Minimum Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related discipline
- Three to five years of Marketing or advertising agency experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills are needed to communicate with employees at all levels of the organization, as well as external business partners and industry associations.
- Strong organizational skills, paying close attention to accuracy and details.
- Ability to prioritize and effectively meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills are necessary to effectively interact with all personality types to maintain solid working relationships.
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related discipline. Three to five years of Marketing or advertising agency experience.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills are needed to communicate with employees at all levels of the organization, as well as external business partners and industry associations.
- Direct Marketing, Market Segmentation, Marketing Research, Coordination, Project Management, Reporting Research Results, Understanding the Customer, Process Improvement, Initiative, Planning.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office required
- Knowledge of event planning software is preferred but not required.
