What You'll Do

As a Truck & Bus Technician, you'll be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining customer equipment in a professional shop environment.

Key responsibilities include:

• Troubleshoot and repair diesel engines, powertrain systems, electrical systems, chassis components, and driveline systems
• Perform preventative maintenance and scheduled service work
• Diagnose and resolve complex mechanical and electrical issues
• Complete service documentation accurately and efficiently
• Work safely while maintaining high-quality workmanship standards
• Meet customer expectations and repair deadlines
• Maintain company tools and equipment
• Follow all safety, environmental, and contamination control procedures

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience
• Minimum of 3 years of diesel, truck, bus, automotive, heavy equipment, or related mechanical experience
• Strong troubleshooting skills involving engines, electrical systems, drivetrains, and hydraulics
• Commitment to safety, quality, and customer satisfaction

Preferred Qualifications

• 5+ years of diesel repair experience
• Experience with Cummins or Caterpillar engines
• Medium Duty Cummins Engine Certification
• Previous dealership or fleet maintenance experience
