In this role, you will analyze inventory needs, manage replenishment decisions, support stocking strategies, and ensure accurate data maintenance across multiple systems. Your work will directly impact customer satisfaction, operational efficiency, and inventory investment.

Starting wage will depend on experience and education. $20.59 – $22.00 per hour

Your Mission, Should You Choose to Accept It:

  • Analyze Inventory Needs: Review inventory control reports to determine stocking requirements that meet customer demand and turnover goals.
  • Make Data?Driven Decisions: Apply company guidelines to stocking and replenishment decisions and be able to clearly explain each action when requested.
  • Maintain System Accuracy: Update system records for pricing, replacements, discontinued parts, alternates, and demand history to ensure accurate inventory and parts information.
  • Process Vendor Orders: Handle miscellaneous vendor orders, follow up with stores and customers on order issues, and resolve emergency order exceptions quickly and accurately.
  • Manage Vendor Claims: Process claims, determine the correct resolution, and communicate outcomes to Parts Managers; coordinate credits and debits with Accounting.
  • Coordinate Literature Audits: Support Caterpillar literature invoice audits and ensure subscriptions are coded correctly; invoice literature accurately and on time.
  • Review & Adjust Demand Reporting: Analyze Unadjusted Demand and Daily Returns reports; adjust demand history and submit return requests to CAT as needed.
  • Support Physical Inventory: Assist with physical inventories and cycle counts; travel to other Quinn stores may be required.

 

 

What You Need to Succeed:

  • High school diploma
  • Minimum of 3 years of inventory control experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Strong analytical and problem?solving skills
  • Detail?oriented with excellent data accuracy
  • Good communication and follow?through skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
  • Experience with inventory systems and parts operations preferred
