We are seeking a detail-oriented Accountant to analyze financial information, prepare reports, and ensure accuracy in financial processes. This role will play a key part in supporting month-end close, maintaining financial integrity, and collaborating cross-functionally to improve accounting operations.
 
Work Location: Candidate must be located, and work from our corporate office in Fargo, ND


 Core Responsibilities

  • Reconcile balance sheet accounts and investigate discrepancies to ensure accurate financial reporting 
  • Prepare and analyze month-end financial statements, including accruals and expense reviews 
  • Research and resolve variances, posting errors, and unusual trends in financial data 
  • Support audit preparation and year-end workpapers 
  • Collaborate with departments to provide accounting guidance on transactions, projects, and system updates 
  • Assist with daily accounting tasks such as journal entries, check runs, and vendor settlements 
  • Contribute to process improvements, system implementations, and testing efforts 
  • Participate in special projects (e.g., fixed assets, sales tax, incentive programs)


Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (or related field) 
  • 2–4 years of accounting experience 
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills 
  • Intermediate Excel skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office
  • Attention to detail with strong accuracy in financial work 
  • Ability to identify issues, research solutions, and recommend improvements 
  • Effective communication and collaboration with cross-functional teams 
  • Strong time management and ability to meet deadlines
