Warehouse Person

2nd Shift
Objective
The position objective of a warehouse person is to be the face of MacAllister CAT to those customers needing parts for their equipment. The successful candidate would process parts orders in a timely manner to provide quality and speedy service.
Responsibilities
With direction and supervision, you will:
- Pick and pack orders
- Manage stocks/inventory
- Receive and inspect remanufactured parts
- Accept and process any parts returns
- Managing the shipping and receiving, including the planning of routes of shipment
- Advise customers on products, any updates, and any policies, procedures and programs as necessary
- Operate warehouse equipment (hose machine, forklifts)
- Maintain a clean working area as per MacAllister CAT policies
Qualifications
To be considered for this position you should have:
- Minimum completion of High School Diploma
- Previous experience of 1-2 years working in a parts/stocks department within a retail organization
- Strong customer support and communication skills to work face to face with customers and internal staff
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Ability to navigate stock management software
Nice to have:
- Previous experience utilizing supply chain management software to manage inventory and track orders
- Formal training/certification in operation of forklift
