SUMMARY: Responsible for the technical liaison between Customers, Consulting Engineers, Key Influencers, Architects and various Departments within the Quinn Power Systems organization, such as Sales Management, Sales Representatives, Project Engineering, Engineering Services, Product Support and Emissions Solutions. Customarily and regularly exercises discretion and independent judgment in the performance of duties.|
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
·Influence Customers, Key Influencers, Consulting Engineers and Architects on all products and services provided by Quinn Power Systems through specification preparedness, competitive awareness and technical relationship.
·Maintain comprehensive electronic and paper files on current and future projects and project history. Maintain customer report calling and contact list. Responsible for reporting and compliance to applicable engineering coverage marketing programs. Generate other associated reports / documentation as required.
·Involvement/support, as required, in the entire sales process; initial to final design, submittal process, permitting, testing, commissioning, training to final customer acceptance.
·Build competencies; be responsible and proactive for personal development and growth. Maintain a high degree of product and industry knowledge through factory programs, product updates, technical information, Industry Associations/Agencies, codes, applicable Federal, State and Local laws/codes, etc.
·Willingness to travel throughout and beyond the territory to accomplish position responsibilities including but not limited to factory, packager/assembler, various product manufacturer's, other dealers, meetings, technical events, etc.
·Work flexible hours including weekends, holidays and nights as required by workload and customer need.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES. This job has no direct reports. Is responsible for the technical direction / liaison / coordination between Quinn Power System Customers / Contractors and employees. Must work well with others and communicate as a team. Take an active role in business development and expansion; identify and develop new customers as well as new projects biding in the territory.
QUALIFICATIONS: Excellent verbal and written communications skills. Working knowledge of PC based computer software programs. High energy level, excellent organizational, time management and negotiating skills. Self-motivated and ability to work independently with minimal supervision. 3-5 years of direct customer contact sales experience. Working knowledge of electrical and mechanical equipment and power generation systems. along with an in-depth knowledge of the Caterpillar product line and competitive awareness. Maintain and keep accurate accounts of the costing per Kilo Watt per hour per project scope.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university in Electrical Engineering and five to eight years experience in the power distribution field or the equivalent of 10 years experience in the power distribution field.
