Main Duties & Responsibilities

Primary Job Role
Provides business office clerical assistance.

 

Writes, types, or enters information into computer to prepare correspondence, bills, statements, receipts, checks, or other documents, copying information from one record to another.

 

Sorts, files and scans records.

 

Answers telephone, conveys messages, and runs errands.

 

Stuffs envelopes by hand or with envelope stuffing machine. Addresses envelopes or packages.

 

Stamps, sorts, and distributes mail.

 

Photocopies documents.

 

Assists in accounts receivable functions as required.

 

Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Education and Experience
Formal Education High School diploma or GED

 

Experience 1-2 years

 

Required / Credentials
Able to easily and effectively comprehend written material and communicate orally and in writing with employees and customers.

 

Proficient in Word, Excel, and Microsoft applications.

 

Not Required but Highly Desired Criteria

 

Prior experience in an office or business setting is desired.

 

Updating of Knowledge
