Director of Taxation

The Director of Taxation is responsible for the management of all tax functions including, but not limited to, Income, Franchise, Sales and Property taxes for Warren Equipment Company and all Subsidiary entities.



·         Comply with Federal and State tax laws

·         Develop and implement new tax policies and procedures and review old policies to ensure compliance with tax laws

·         Review of returns for Federal and State jurisdictions prepared by internal staff and external tax professionals

·         Manage federal and state tax accruals for all Warren entities

·         Direct external service provider relationships to provide maximum benefit for the WEC group

·         Participate in consolidated closing process

·         Oversight of inter-company tax sharing policies

·         Direct examinations by any taxing authority

·         Prepare quarterly estimates tax calculations along with quarterly tax reports for presentation to Company CFOs and CEO


  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field and five to ten years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.  CPA is required.
    • Additionally, this position requires:
      • Five to ten years of experience in all aspects of tax preparation and accounting.
      • Thorough knowledge of tax and GAAP accounting, including the application of tax and accounting regulations
      • Strong leadership skills
      • Exceptional analytical and problem solving abilities
  • CPA required.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. 
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. 
  • Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
